By Gloria Mason

Among the finest wedding traditions involves folks wearing bridal tiaras along with their dresses. Generally few women other than royalty wear them every day so are often unsure how they must be properly placed. Yes as surprising as it is you will find there's a good method and a better method to wear them.

Many people will insist that it is as easy as slipping them onto your head, looking beautiful and smiling a little. Honestly though there are various different ways people can wear them. Just like there are various kinds of tiaras. They could be placed on the crown, the front sometimes people experiment with them on the back of the head. There is a special type that is weaved into the hair as circlets. The most important factor is how the hair is styled. I

The common place to wear it is the hairline by the very front of the head. Often this is done when a bride pulls back her hair. The tiara frames the hairline with the natural lighting from any gemstones that might be in it. Recently women have put highlights into their hair to help draw more attention to it.

Some women like to wear them on top of their heads leaning either forward or to the back. This is a classic look that has its roots in tribal society. Ensure that your hair is not drawing too much attention by being too high. It is also important to make sure that the feet are long and flexible enough to mold to the wearer's head.

Some people are experimental and willing to try to wear them around the back of the head. In a way this makes sense because this is what most people will see during the wedding ceremony. If you do decide to experiment with this style, get some good advice from your stylists for what to do with your hair.

Another classic style is using a semi flexible tiara as a bun wrap. Sometimes hidden rubber grips can be used to help stop them from moving. If you do plan to do this, try to pick one out that has a thin base which is possible to be pinned into place.

The most common way to wear one is with the hair down with the tiara in front so it looks like a small crown. This way they can pull their hair straight back, use braids or simply comb it down straight. Remember though, they are not like a headband. Put it on so it feels comfortable and push each end down and in just a little.

Wedding tiaras are a classic tradition based on old historic beliefs and customs. It is a practice that will not be likely to go away in the future. Irrespective of the type you end up going with, nothing makes women feel like a queen for a day like a jeweled tiara.
